Easy Cheesy Scones

Easy cheesy scones are a great snack at lunch. You can even use vegan cheese!


  • 225g Self-raising Flour
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
  • 55g Butter
  • 120g Cheese
  • 90-100ml Milk
  • A pinch of Salt


Pre-heat the oven to 200C/180C (fan).
In a large bowl, add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix.
Add the butter and mix with your hands to make crumbs.
Combine 100g of the cheese into the mixture. Add the milk to create a soft but firm dough.
Flour a surface and roll out the dough to 2cm thick, and use a round cutter to cut out the dough.
Place on a baking sheet, glaze with a little milk and sprinkle cheese over the top.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 mins.
