Over the next 18 months we are developing a network of community focused market gardens designed to support, uplift and inspire all those that use the space, firstly being the jewel in the crown “The Merryhue Research Market Garden” here on the farm. This will be a space for therapy, horticultural talks and so much more. Based on organic and permaculture principle this space will operate under a no dig method and be focused at supporting those from every walk of the life… designed around disabled access the space will consist of a small fruit research forest orchard, 350 meters of growing production beds with a third built for disabled use, a pond that will help support beneficial insects along with seating areas, composter and large commercial scale poly tunnel.
